Prior to attending law school, Brandon Bibby was a licensed plumber. After receiving his law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2006, Brandon began his career in the oil and gas business as an independent landman working in the Texas panhandle.
His current practice consists of matters relating to criminal defense and personal injury law. He has experience representing exploration and production companies; providing legal services relevant to acquisitions and divestitures, operations, and regulatory matters; and providing legal support for land service companies, pipeline companies, and, on occasion, landowners.
Brandon’s experience in oil and gas law also includes advising on federal on-shore oil and gas leasing matters, drafting briefs for regulatory hearings, advising on surface and mineral title issues, drafting opinions, assisting with business transactions, and providing curative support.
